Our farm name comes from the
image of Lora as the little
old lady who lives in the shoe. We have eight
beautiful children
and our house is always busy, always full of laughter and
joy.
Although sometimes it's more like a comedy than anything poetic.
We purchased our first alpacas in Spring 2003, starting with
2 maiden Suris
and 2 pregnant Suris. Since we live in town, we
originally boarded our girls
at Annapaca Farm with Ann & Bert
Kramer. In two short years our little herd
has grown to a total of
nine alpacas. We learned many invaluable lessons
from Ann
and Bert, who so graciously took us under their wing. Our
alpacas
now live with Diana and Paul Wilson at Fernwood Farm,
as we continue to
search for the perfect farm for our "herds"
(both kids and alpacas!).
We have already experienced both
highs and lows of raising alpacas, and have been blessed
with the support and friendship of many wonderful people in
the
alpaca industry.
Our goal is to continue that
tradition of support and friendship,
while providing quality alpacas to our
customers. We are very
family oriented. We have to be with 8 kids! Life is
Good!

generation. We strive for solid conformation and
perfect
fleece characteristics in every mating selection, individually
analyzing each dam's strengths and weakness. We promise
to serve our
customers with honesty and integrity. We offer
both pre- and post- purchase
